The members of Pipistrel team are not just excellent flyers, they can ski very well too!
To prove this statement, here's a report from a ski race we held on 22. January 2010:
Pipistrel Team gathered in the evening at Lome, Javornik for a night of skiing.
The resident ski club SK Javornik took over the organisation and set up a demanding race track for the 20 or so competitors.
Separate teams of male and female competitors both took two runs of giant slalom for the great Pipistrel Snow Cup.
The atmosphere was fantastic thanks to the non-competing part of the Pipistrel team, who gathered along the race track and cheered loudly.
But they weren't bored either - they could choose the option of taking on the slope on sled or straw sacks.
Later on, the director of Pipistrel, Mr Ivo Boscarol, greeted all the skiers and awarded medals and trophies to the winners.
The evening ended with a tasty dinner and a glass of little "something" to warm up!
