Award of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Slovenia

Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Slovenia has been awarding the most visible successes in commerce ever since 1986. The recipients are directors, entrepreneurs and other businessmen, which achieved outstanding success and contributed to developement of Slovenian economy and its position in the world.

In 2005, Mr. Ivo boscarol was among the nine recipients of the award. The argumentation for the award says: Mr. Boscarol belongs in the small circle of great inventors and organisers, who managed to combine high technology and successful marketing. With only his knowledge and a vision he managed to travel the path from a small backdoor workshop to the technologically perfected production of the worlds best airplanes in their category and his own trademark line of products.

 

The receivers of the award were chosen among the 22 nominees by a comittee of members of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Slovenia and the Faculty of Economics at the University of Ljubljana.
The president of the comittee, Mr. Zdenko Pavček, welcomed the final 9 recipients into the elite company of 254 people who received the greatest non-political Slovenian award.

The president of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Slovenia, Mr. Jožko čŒuk, handed out the awards to each of the nine recipients and congratulated them in the name of  the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Slovenia.
