Pipistrel got the DEAD GRASS AWARD!!

The Virtual Dead Grass award is held annually by the EAA. Each year attendees at AirVenture vote with their feet and bestow on certain airplanes what is unofficially known as the "Dead Grass Award." It is obvious who the winners are based on the patterns in the grass around certain airplanes.Just like dead grass around the aricraft shows the amount of interested visitors, the Virtual Dead Grass is based on the number of clicks through the EAA websiet - the "voting" is done virtually by tabulating which aircraft garnered the most interests by online readers.
The award shows the amount of traffic and proves that the Taurus G4 was very popular with the people who visited the website. We even ranked higher than the B 29 Flying Fortress!

Pipistrel's booth has relocated from the ultralight area where we have been for many years (because of the wide open spaces for our long wingspan aircraft) down to the main exhibition area.

Our booth is located at Site 292A (shown highlighted in red), just on the eastern side of Hanger B which is also known as the Pilotmall.com Hanger.
The site fronts onto Knapp Street right next to the main entry used by most of the campers.
For those unfamiliar with the location it is one of the main four exhibition hangers and it is the hanger which is the closest to the main North-South runway on the southern side of Aeroshell Square.
We wont be hard to find.
