FogZapper - the most revolutionary device in history of aviation!

Pipistrel has done it again! Together with Aviodream, we are presenting another World's First - a weather authoring device for light aircraft. To say it is amazing would be an understatement...
THIS WAS AN APRIL FOOL'S DAY JOKE!

Finally! Single engine light aircraft will also be able to fly everywhere and anywhere regardless of the weather. FogZapper makes all this possible at a push of a button.

The FogZapper works using a super-concentrated and powerful laser beam. It is so powerful, it is even visible to the human eye! When activated, the beam is directed towards the nearest fog/cloud formation and literally zapps it. With FogZapper, visibility issues are no more!

The pictures don't do justice to the beam. It is REALLY powerful!

Latest develpments in Laser tehnologies made minituarisation of the FogZapper. Although it can be fitted to almost every platform it will be exclusivly available on Pipistrel's product range!

Leading scientists on the project, professor Awelbee Fayed and his assistant Simon Aimwell describe the product as the most revolutionary in the field of aviation since the invention of flaps! The only disadvantage in this stage of development is the fact that: "All living beings in close proximity (3 NM) of the beam are subject to abnormal cogitive functioning for brief periods of time."

FogZapper in action. Pictures are from test activations, but nonetheless impressive.

Handling the FogZapper in the cockpit could not be more simple, point the nose of the aircraft towards the fog/cloud formation you want to Zap, press the button on the instrument panel. Then lean back and relax. The system will notify you about the progress of fog zapping with acustic and visual indication. "System activated - Countdown to beam activation: three, two, one, ZAP! - Sequence completed."

FogZapper is expected to be tested in-flight by the end of 2008 with deliveries in second quarter of 2009.
