Ministru dr.

ENGLISH:
Minister of Transport Mr Patrick Vlačič, and the Head of the Minister's Office Mr Rok Crnošija, honoured Pipistrel with their visit on Friday, 28. January.
The visit of Ministry for Transport representatives is a very important occasion for Pipistrel and our work, which falls directly under the supervision of the Ministry of Transport. Pipistrel has always maintained a very good relationship with the Civil Aviation Directorate, which is a part of the Ministry of Transport, and with all other bureaus which fall under the Ministry supervision. It has to be mentioned that the Ministry of Transport always did their best to help Pipistrel with documentation, procedures and communication with Aviation Directorates in foreign countries.
Minister of Transport dr. Patrick Vlačič, the Secretary of State dr. Igor
Jakomin and the Director General of the Civil Aviation Directorate mag. Mirko Komac
have set themselves a goal to enable Pipistrel to penetrate the American market, which has so far remained closed because of the lack of Bilateral Agreement between the two countries, as well as to enable the certification of Pipistrel aircraft on the Chinese market.
Because of all of the above, minister Vlačič together with the Head of Office Mr Crnošija decided to visit Pipistrel.
The guests were warmly welcomed by the Pipistrel CEO Mr Ivo Boscarol, the Head of Research & Development department dr. Gregor Veble, product manager Mr Tadej Hožič and the certification expert of the R&D team Mr Tine Tomažič.
The guests visited the production hall and had a look at the assembly line for the aircraft. They also visited the service and the R&D department.
The minister got himself familiar with the future plans and projects of Pipistrel. Unfortunately strong winds prevented us from going flying, so we just tested the comfort of the aircraft on the ground.
The 6-hour-long visit was entertaining and productive. We would like to thank Minister of Transport dr. Patrick Vlačič and the Head of Minister's Office Mr Rok Crnošija for their visit and for all the help and support they have given to Pipistrel through the years.
Ivo Boscarol,
