One THOUSAND kilometers with Taurus!

Martin Gruenert, a Taurus pilot from Sout Africa, gave Pipistrel the best possible Christmas present: he accomplished a stunning one-thousand-kilometer uninterrupted flight with the Taurus motorglider!

The flight began at 8.07 AM in the morning of December 26 2009 in Worcester Gld, Republic of South Africa. More than 9 hours and a thousand kilometers of gliding later, the pilot landed at the same airport.
