Pipistrel European Meeting Details

The event, organized by Aero Club Pisa and Pipistrel, with support of Tuscan Regional Administration, Pisa Administration, Capannoli city Administration, C.O.N.I, the magazine “Aviazione Sportiva” and the magazine “X-Plane Italia”.

This event is the first European Pipistrel motor-gliders official meeting; this meeting will be open also to all kind of motor-gliders, also to General aviation aircraft and ULM (micro light aircraft).

> Scheduled events

Saturday:
Start at 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM
-Motor-gliders demonstration show,
-Aerobatics flights and aircraft presentation with tests flight
-Flight simulations for all aircraft

at 13:00 hrs: Lunch time (many kinds of sandwiches)
at 18:00 hrs: Round table meeting with object “Present and future of gliders flight as also ULM (micro-light aircraft) glider flight in Europe
at 21:00 hrs: barbecue dinner at the airfield with live music entertainment and award ceremony.

Sunday:
Start 09:00 AM to 5:00 PM
-Motor gliders show,
-aerobatics flight and aircraft presentation with tests flight and flight simulation for all
11:00 hrs: meeting on topic“safety of flight” <from theory to practice>
13:00 hrs: lunch at Headquarters of “Aero Club di Pisa”.

> Subscription:

All inclusive: Attendance, Saturday lunch and dinner with live music entertainment,
Sunday lunch, Overnight aircraft parking and security, Bus shuttle from the hotel to airfield and back, Meeting kit
€ 55,00 for each pilot and € 40,00 for each passenger and/or guest

Night stay:
Per agreement with Hotel Portavaldera the fare is fixed at:
€ 68,00 for double room

> Expected program:

Flight demonstration with motor-gliders aircraft and gliders into ULM categories (Micro Light Aircraft) and also motor-gliders aircraft and gliders into General Aviation categories; included patrol flight, aerobatic flight and flight test.
Moreover:
Presentation of full PIPISTREL production as SINUS, SINUS NW (nose wheel,), VIRUS; pure glider TAURUS with SINUS as towing machine (under German Ratification) with possible flight test;

> Mobile Check Unit

All PIPISTREL Project Staff will be present with a Mobile Check Unit able to make free technical check-up to the aircraft present at the event. Needed or requested spare parts or upgrades will be discounted (10%).

> Meetings:

Round table meeting with object “Present and Future of glider flight for ULM (Micro-Light Aircraft) in Europe”
with particular target to motor-gliders into sport flight and didactic activities.

X-Plane and motor-gliders ULM simulation, flight with Mr. Claudio Fogliato for COMMUNITY X-PLANE ITALIA

Flight round the World with SINUS:
Mr. Matevz Lenarcic, record FAI for first solo flight around the world with ULM (Micro Light Aircraft), during this event he will introduce his aerial pictures book "Around the only world"
