Both Peterle and Krkovič are still passionate about Slovenia, both its history and future, therefore Peterle came up with the idea to take Krkovič up in Pipistrel's Virus any fly over the entire Country border. There was a significant interest amongst the media to cover this event and Finance were the first to be on the spot!

It was a birthday present Krkovič would never forget! A total flight time of more than 4 hours took them first over coastal line, and then all along the southern (with Croatia), eastern (with Hungary), northern (with Austria) and western (with Italy) border back to Ajdovscina, where they departed.
